Sugar and  Spice is a licensed American Bakery   located in Florence, Tuscany  and founded by Masha and her daughter, Saskia.

Masha Innocenti originally from New York, has always been fascinated with art and cake design. After receiving a CCP diploma from Julia Child at the IACP convention  and a diploma Cordon Bleu she unites her two passions and opens the first bakery in 1993 dedicated to American desserts developing a unique style in  Florence creating  custom-designed cakes and introducing bespoke wedding cakes even before they became so popular here. Her daughter, Saskia Innocenti, also fascinated with cake design has a diploma in Food and Beverage management from the Culinary school Buontalenti.

They  work  together with various event and wedding planners here and abroad delivering  their cake  creations to  villas and castels all over Tuscany and other regions in Italy. Their wedding cakes have been featured in several pubblications such as Inside Weddings, Cosmopolitan, Grazia,  Alice,  Mon Cheriè , Cake Design Magazine, Style  Me Pretty and Destination Weddings & Honeymoons Abroad .
